Cop Swap
A "friendly" wager has a wealthy suburban police force exchange positions with a hardened New York City bunch of cops. The ensuing scenarios leads to humorous interactions and exchanges with the respective civilian populations, while at the same time the drama makes cultural observations of the two disparate communities that are nonetheless in incredible close proximity to one another. Good to have you, halschaefer!
We all appreciate you sharing your work with us. I am going to read it tomorrow and will let you know what I think soon. You should go on over to the Introduce Yourself forum and tell us a little about yourself. A question I have for you is: "Is this your first treatment?" In any event, welcome to the site and keep the treatments coming-

Yes, this is my first "treatment", as I imagine it does not follow a true Hollywood treatment format. Likewise, it needs some (character/plot) development, etc. Anyone is welcome to help......
However, it is based on my personal experiences here in New Canaan, CT, and I hope you agree it does pose some possibilities, both comical, and socio-economic statements. And I kid you not, the police force here is outfitted even more than in Beverly Hills Cop, but they have a nasty attitude. |
